Graphic Designer / Creative Director
I am an artist.
I am a graphic artist, photographer, and creative director for branding, marketing, and advertising projects. It’s fun to conceptualize ideas and vision; creating has its own magic; but the most enjoyable part of my job is seeing the finished product—on social media, in stores, as a two-page spread in a magazine. It means you have created something that aesthetically, technically, and pragmatically has succeeded.
I have always wanted to be an artist. I began working professionally in 2006 and have had the opportunity to work in multiple industries including healthcare, sports, entertainment, cosmetics, food, clothing, and automotive. I create logos, sales collateral, package design, POP displays, pop-up books, brochures, flyers, magazine and web page ads, e-blast art, and catalog layouts. I take all my product marketing photos myself, film videos, and edit both. With experience and knowledge of pre-press and small and large format production, I can take a project from starting concept through to its printed product.
I continually work with the paper and tech engineers, knowing that working together we can find solutions before issues delay production. I also enjoy experimenting with new technologies with the tech engineers and the synergy of expanding ideas when I work with the Advertising and Design teams. With clients, I create designs for their vision or help them define their vision. I have learned that explaining technical concepts to customers in simplified terms that they can understand enables them to appreciate and contribute to projects.
My success comes from my confidence in my creative skills and technical proficiency with all Adobe CS programs, and also from my organizational and time-management skills.
